(Truckee Meadows)- On Friday, September 5th, Bill Winchester, a Truckee Meadows Fire Department Captain, was severely injured while on a road-bike training ride in South Reno. He is currently in intensive care and the next step is 3-4 months of extensive, out-of-state rehabilitation at a specialty spinal injury center.
Bill is a lifetime Reno resident, served as a volunteer fire fighter prior to becoming a professional fire fighter, and is employed by the Truckee Meadows Fire Department.
