Ésta consiste en enviar un mensaje a los conductores de vehículos sobre los peligros mortales que puede ocurrir si dejan a una persona o animal dentro del automóvil durante verano, debido a las alta temperaturas que se registran en esta temporada.
Today the Las Vegas Firefighters received the Golden Boot Award on behalf of the Las Vegas Firefighters for being Top Fundraiser from their “Fill The Boot” drive for the MDA Nevada. In Total the Las Vegas Firefighters raised $78,606 in donations!
The Henderson Police Officers’ Association donated $25,000 to the National Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Fund to support the National Law Enforcement Museum being built in Washington, D.C. It will be the nation’s largest museum honoring America’s law enforcement officers.
Henderson and Las Vegas firefighters, as well as the American Red Cross, join together to help spread the word about water safety and stress the importance of the A,B,C&Ds of drowning prevention.
Las Vegas Firefighters won the 2014 “First Responder Challenge” for raising the most donations for the Movember Foundation.

The Las Vegas Firefighters donated $2,000 to Honor Flight of Southern Nevada on January 23, 2015 at the Veterans Memorial in Boulder City, Nevada. The money donated came from proceeds from their camouflage “Veterans Day” T-shirts, which were sold in early November.
