Tia King is currently the social media strategist for Trosper Public Relations. She is responsible for social media marketing and content creation for clients across all platforms and developing strategy to optimize performance.
She began her social media career early where she interned with UNLV’s Football team and was also the Vice President of UNLV’s Sports Marketing Management Association. After graduating, she took her talents to a wider audience and began working with a variety of companies nationwide to develop her social media marketing skills.
Tia graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ Lee Business College with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Entrepreneurship. In her free time, King enjoys reading books, trying new Vegas food spots with her boyfriend and going to music festivals.
Debbie has more than 10 years of experience in radio media, working with America Matters Media and Easy 104.1 FM in Reno. In 2019, Debbie launched her newest show “City Talk,” where she focuses on food, wine, travel and experiences that give back to the community. She co-founded and contributed to a women’s lifestyle magazine featuring elements of travel, wine, fashion, health, and fitness. She also served as a guest host for Getaway Virtual, and Carson Now. She is the recipient of several awards, including an ADDY award for video direction and the 2018 Sierra Nevada Powerful Women Award, American Advertising Federation 2019 Promotion Person of the Year, American Marketing Association 2022 Freelancer of the Year, and she is involved with numerous organizations and charities.
In 2020, Debbie formed her own initiative called “Together We Are One Heart” a program that shares a common message of community support and philanthropy. The campaign provides blue bracelets to all hospital heroes, volunteers, and community members who never give up and are always giving and sharing their heart. In addition, she has partnered with Crystal Basin Cellars Winery with her very own AboutTownDeb Red Blend wine label, with an AboutTownDeb Sauvignon Blanc on the way this summer. A portion of all proceeds benefit Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation.
Debbie is currently representing Trosper Public Relations in the northern Nevada market.
Ashley is the creative director for Trosper Communications, LLC. She is well versed in brand development, website development and strategic advertising campaigns that have helped Trosper Communications’ clients expand their presence in the minds of consumers and the business community.
With more than 20 years in the creative industry, Ashley has developed a stellar reputation for producing highly effective marketing materials for local, state and national clients. Her experience includes working in brand identity development, creative concept development, interactive development and direction, outdoor advertising, partnership development, typography, visual communication, printed collateral and production, creative department leadership and management.
Ashley’s conceptual thinking and technological skills has generated groundbreaking concepts and designs for clients in a variety of industries including health care, corporate, nonprofit and government agencies. Her dedication to her craft has not gone unnoticed. Throughout the years in the creative marketing industry, she has received numerous Addy, Bronze Quill and Pinnacle Awards. She obtained her associates degree in Graphic Arts and Multimedia Certificate from Platt College in Newport Beach, California, in 2004.
Amanda Peña is a wife, a mother, a writer and a book enthusiast. With a strong belief in the power of words and a passion for reading, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She has nearly 10 years of experience in real estate with top producing teams where her skillset emphasizes streamlining systems and improving written and verbal communication. Amanda continues to work as a free-lance writer for notable clients including Nevada Business Magazine and Trosper Public Relations. Born and raised in Las Vegas, family is a top priority for Amanda. When she isn’t spending time with her husband and their new daughter, she is usually working on her creative writing, hosting a book club meeting or planning the next family adventure.
Sue Smuskiewicz is director of administration at Trosper Communications. She started working with Trosper in 2010 as chief copy editor and was named to her new position in 2015. In this role, she continues her proofreading duties, in addition to managing and maintaining the firm’s administrative functions, human resource activities and assisting with event staffing.
Prior to joining Trosper, Smuskiewicz worked for the Performing Arts Center at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) for 10 years. In her positions as a publication writer and as a sales and promotion representative, she worked closely with the Fine Arts Department to publicize their events, as well as to provide support for front-of-house operations for the theater. She also served two years as president of the Classified Council at CSN.
From 1997–2004, Smuskiewicz was the office manager for the Nevada Parent Teacher Association (PTA)–the only employee for that all-volunteer, non-profit organization. In addition to being responsible for all day-to-day operations, she coordinated annual conventions, in-service trainings and helped facilitate and promote child advocacy and parent-involvement programs.
After leaving the PTA to work at CSN, she was eligible for election to the Nevada PTA Board of Managers, and subsequently served two-year terms as treasurer, parliamentarian and, most recently, as secretary from 2019-2022. She has received a Life Achievement Award from National PTA and an Honorary Life Membership from Nevada PTA.,
Smuskiewicz’s career also includes 11 years at the Mint Hotel & Casino in public relations & advertising, and 15 years with High Desert Racing Assn. and SCORE International off-road racing companies, performing all office and event administrative functions.
A graduate of the University of California. Santa Barbara, she also attended the University of Maryland, Munich Campus for two years.
She volunteers on the finance committee for her church and enjoys pickleball, biking, travel and entertaining.
Vania Beltran is highly experienced and bi-lingual account executive for Trosper Public Relations. Prior to joining Trosper, she served as a senior producer with FOX5 News in Las Vegas. With nearly a decade of experience in broadcast media including local, national, and Spanish-language broadcasts, Beltran specializes in bridging the communication gap between clients and media. Her experience working in a newsroom have given her a keen eye for what attracts journalists and a thorough knowledge of the Nevada market. Beltran’s skillset includes creating perspective strategies and campaigns that enhance branding and the publicity value for clients.
Beltran graduated from San Diego State University’s School of Journalism & Media Studies and is an EMMY Award recipient. In her free time, Beltran enjoys hiking with her boyfriend and their dog, traveling and discovering new places to enjoy good food.
Elizabeth Trosper launched Trosper Communications, LLC now DBA Trosper Public Relations, in the fall of 2010. Prior to opening her own firm, Trosper was a partner of a local public relations agency since 1999. She brings decades of public relations and government affairs experience to Trosper Communications, LLC and has applied her extensive knowledge to her professional advantage, through tough economic climates.
A California native, Trosper began her career in public relations with the Los Angeles office of Manning, Selvage & Lee Public Relations, a national firm specializing in corporate and consumer accounts. During her tenure, she received Silver Star Awards and was recognized for her contributions to Blockbuster Entertainment Group, Sega of America, Mattel Toys, and George Lucas Active Entertainment.
Trosper has served on numerous boards throughout the Las Vegas valley and is a current trustee, and past chairwoman, of the Board of Trustees of the Henderson Development Association (HDA) and is an alumnus of Leadership Henderson. She has served on several non-profit boards throughout the years and is a current advisory board member to Southern Nevada Honor Flight. She was selected as Principal of the Year in 2007 by the Southern Nevada Chapter of the Public Relations Society (PRSA) and voted a finalist in the Women of Distinction Awards under Community and Government Services. She is the recipient of several PRSA Pinnacle awards, Videographer awards, and Hermes awards received throughout her career and in 2018, received the PRSA Industry Veteran Practitioner Pinnacle.
In January 2012, she was appointed to the North Las Vegas Economic Advisory Committee and, in 2013, appointed to the North Las Vegas Economic Development steering committee. In 2015, she received an appointment to the City of Henderson Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee and was elected chairwoman. She currently serves on the City of Henderson Community Education Advisory Board.
Professional memberships include Public Relations Society of America, Henderson Chamber of Commerce, Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and National Association of Industrial Office Properties (NAIOP). Over the past decade, Trosper Communications has become the agency of record for first responders, construction and development as well as business-to-business clients.
During her leisure time, Liz enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Dylan Kendrick currently serves as an account executive at Trosper Public Relations. Kendrick works to create and execute communication needs, growth opportunities, business development strategies, and continued growth of client media landscapes across local, national and international outlets.
Kendrick comes to Trosper Public Relations after years of reporting stories in the Las Vegas community on FOX5-KVVU. During his run with the station, Kendrick covered the city’s economic crisis brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, presidential campaigns, along with various breaking news and feature stories that kept the community informed. Working as a journalist has allowed Kendrick to understand the work it takes to elevate businesses to maximize their reach and revenue through creative storytelling.
Kendrick is well versed in all thing’s media as an established and Emmy-nominated journalist for nearly a decade. Since graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno’s Reynolds School of Journalism, Kendrick has held multiple roles within broadcast news including: editor, photographer, reporter, and weather forecaster. When Kendrick isn’t working on projecting the voice and stories of his clients, you’ll find him traveling the world, watching movies, and exploring nature.
