On Dec. 1, Henderson Councilwoman Debra March hosted a campaign launch party to make her bid for Henderson mayor official.
Councilwoman March invited friends, family and the community to join her for the official announcement at the Henderson Convention Center. U.S. Senator Richard Bryan, State Senators Joyce Woodhouse and Joe Hardy, along with others such as Clark County Commissioners Bruce Woodbury and Larry Brown all commended March.
March delivered her first official campaign speech addressing her vision for the city of Henderson.
“I am truly amazed and humbled by the overwhelming support that I received from my peers and from the Henderson community at the event,” said March. “I pride myself on being a representative of this great city and I plan to continue to work toward Henderson’s success.”
A Henderson resident for more than 25 years, March currently represents Henderson as vice chair on the Regional Transportation Commission, vice chair of the Clark County Regional Flood Control District, and serves as the city council liaison to the Henderson Planning Commission.
