The Foundation Assisting Seniors presents STRIKE UP THE BAND, a benefit concert by the UNLV Community Concert Band featuring Special Guest Performances by Barbara Brighton, Steve Connelly “Spirit of the King Elvis Presley,” Mark Giovi, Toscha Comeaux, and Genevieve Dew. The event will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 30th at the Sun City Anthem Grand Ballroom located at 2450 Hampton Rd.
General admission is $20. All net proceeds from the concert benefit The Foundation Assisting Seniors.
“We are proud to present a benefit concert showcasing the 80 member UNLV Community Concert Band,” said Lorraine Kennett, a board member of The Foundation Assisting Seniors. “We enjoy bringing our community together to support a great cause. All concertgoers are in for a treat with great music enhanced by professional singers and dancers!”
The Foundation Assisting Seniors was founded with the mission of improving the quality of life for the senior community by assisting them in times of illness, recovery, confinement at home, coping with the loss of a loved one and other senior challenges, as well as to provide assistance with everyday tasks such as household maintenance and transportation.

Headquartered in Henderson, Nevada, The Foundation Assisting Seniors was established in April 2002, with a mission to assist the senior community in times of illness, recovery, confinement at home, coping with the loss of a loved one, and other senior challenges, as well as to provide assistance with everyday tasks such as household maintenance, and transportation.
