Tronox held a company blood drive on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at their Henderson plant, donating a total of 20 units of blood to the United Blood Services. The company plans to hold additional drives on May 27 and September 23.
“This is a great cause, as many people do not realize that there is always a shortage of certain blood types,” said Safety Manager Connie Hall, who organized the event. “This is just one of many charitable initiatives that Tronox participates in throughout the year, and I look forward to maintaining this as a regular event for our Henderson plant.”
