Las Vegas Informer: Henderson Resident Dan Shaw Donates to Local Charity S.A.F.E. House.

Community leader and business owner, Dan Shaw donated $5,000 to S.A.F.E. House, a local charity that offers emergency shelter for those seeking refuge from interpersonal violence/domestic violence, and other emergency services and resources.

“We are excited to receive this donation and thank Mr. Shaw for his generosity, ” said Julie Proctor, executive director of S.A.F.E. House.

“It is my pleasure to be able to donate to a local charity as it helps our friends and neighbors in need,” said Shaw.

Shaw is the principal owner of Rustler Investments and currently serves on the Planning Commission of Clark County, Nevada. He served as chairman of the Planning Commission of the city of Henderson, Nevada for 13 years. He was formerly chairman of Henderson’s Parks & Recreation board for 12 years. Shaw was recently recognized as the National Outstanding Citizenfor his leadership in the parks and recreation industry. He also holds membership in several prestigious organizations including the Boy Scouts of America.
