Tronox, LLC donated $1,500 to the Robert Taylor Elementary Robotics Club. Tronox Plant Manager, Rick Stater presented a check with the club’s students, advisors and the school’s vice principal all in attendance.

This is the ninth year that Tronox has been involved with supporting the club. Every year along with a monetary donation, Stater encourages employees to volunteer with the students and act as mentors throughout the school year.

“I always look forward to seeing the progress that these young, intelligent students make within the Robotics Club,” said Stater. “It is an absolute pleasure to support a program that creates opportunities and inspires our children to stay involved in the STEM academics.”

Tronox believes that through their contributions and support of STEM programs, they will positively impact young students in the Henderson community and encourage them to strive for excellence within these technical fields.
