(LAS VEGAS) – The Professional Firefighters of Nevada (PFFN) announced today that their 2015 Challenge Coin is now available to the public. Each coin sells for $10 plus shipping and can be purchased online at http://pffn.org/store.html.
The challenge coin started within the military ranks but soon became a firefighter tradition. East Coast firefighters started using the challenge coins due to the large east coast military influence and it has now swept through the country.
A firefighter’s skill and dedication deserve the highest recognition. Strength, service and dedication are the hallmarks of these brave men and women who risk their lives to keep us safe. These coins reflect the spirit of the men and women who serve Nevada.
Rusty McAllister, president of the Professional Firefighters of Nevada, says, “We look forward to being able to distribute a keepsake such as our 2015 Challenge Coin to our supporters, who may or may not be in Nevada, by providing an online shop for people to visit and order. These make nice gifts and are made of the finest quality materials.”
