About the Robert L. Taylor Elementary School Robotics Club

The Robert L. Taylor Robotics Club was initiated seven years ago by Dr. Larry Pilon, with the intent of challenging fifth grade students with hands-on science projects outside of the required curriculum. Students work in teams on the NXT Robotic Unit and, this year, the Simple Machines Unit was added for fourth grade students to enhance their interest in preparation for next year’s robotics. Tronox is a longtime sponsor of the Robert L. Taylor Robotics Club.
