Today the Las Vegas Firefighters received the Golden Boot Award on behalf of the Las Vegas Firefighters for being Top Fundraiser from their “Fill The Boot” drive for the MDA Nevada. In Total the Las Vegas Firefighters raised $78,606 in donations!

Frank previously served as a Communications and Social Media Coordinator. On March 2, 2015, The Gordon McCaw Elementary School’s McCaw School of Mines reached its 90,000th visitor since its opening in 1996. This is a landmark event for the McCaw School of Mines, which hosts 4th grade students from around the valley to give them a hands-on Nevada history lesson where they can pan for gold, experiment with rocks and minerals, and tour the grounds where artifacts of the past are everywhere.

The Las Vegas Firefighters donated $2,000 to Honor Flight of Southern Nevada on January 23, 2015 at the Veterans Memorial in Boulder City, Nev. The money donated came from proceeds from their camouflage “Veterans Day” t-shirts, which were sold in early November.
(Henderson, Nev.) –For the second time, the Henderson Firefighters will be showing their support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) by selling “Go Pink for the Cure” charity shirts to the public. Fifty percent of the proceeds will benefit the BCRF, and the other half will go to the Henderson Firefighters Benevolent Association (HFBA), which benefits other local nonprofit organizations in the community.
