SR Construction received four awards at the second annual World Wide Safety Awards held on January 25. This event recognizes construction organizations who uphold the highest standards in safety performance.

“I am honored to accept these awards in recognition of our team’s hard work to create a safe work environment,” said Bret Loughridge, vice president of operations at SR Construction. “Safety is our top priority, and I am humbled to know that our employees share this with us.”

SR Construction received the following awards: General Contractor – Reno and General Contractor Commercial. Michelle Cates was given the Safety Director Commercial award and Fred Kravetz was given the Superintendent Commercial award.

“SR Construction’s commitment and excitement towards safety is shown in all the work they do,” said Virginia Toalepai, founder and president of World Wide Safety. “I enjoyed working with SR, and sharing with them the importance of safety in the workplace and ensuring that all employees make it home to their families at night.”

Henderson Medical Office Building has wrapped up construction in Henderson, Nev. The building will house various medical disciplines.

Built by SR Construction (Las Vegas), the 84,450-square-foot, four-story facility is located 200 feet from Henderson Hospital. The project includes restrooms, a finished lobby with two elevators, and complete mechanical and electrical systems with future tap-ins.

The exterior of the medical office building is composed of EIFS with a metal stud system and stone veneer at the bottom floor. Fernando Andrade served as the architect.

The exterior of the medical office building is composed of EIFS with a metal stud system and stone veneer at the bottom floor. The building offers a location for various medical disciplines to provide medical care for the community. Fernando Andrade served as the architect for this project.

Additionally, SR Construction is proud to have served as the primary construction contractor on southern Nevada’s newest health facility landmark, Henderson Hospital, located at 1050 Galleria Drive in Henderson, Nev. The hospital recently observed its one year anniversary of operation.

SR Construction broke ground on the 38.5 acre lot approximately two years ago. Today, the 247,000 square foot Henderson Hospital accommodates 130 private beds, an emergency department, four ORs, and a top floor women’s division that includes a 12 bed NICU. Shell space was created for another 30 acute care beds and an additional two ORs.

“It was an absolute honor to be a part of this remarkable journey that will forever impact Southern Nevada and the global healthcare industry,” said Bret Loughridge, vice president of operations at SR. “We are thrilled to see how far Henderson Hospital has come in the past year and witness its thriving success.”

The project includes a finished lobby, restrooms, two elevators and complete mechanical and electrical systems with future tap-ins.

SR Construction completed two of the valley’s first neighborhood hospitals by a joint venture between Dignity Health and Emerus. The company was the general contractor for the North Las Vegas campus and Blue Diamond campus.

SR Construction has hired as vice president of business development and marketing in its Las Vegas office. Cunningham has more than 18 years of experience managing sales and 33 years of experience in business development. He served previously as business development manager and national sales manager for Robinson Construction and Helitech Civil Construction.He has spent much of his career in commercial and industrial processing construction while gaining experience in general contracting.
