(HENDERSON, NV)- On Monday, September 20, 2014, The Foundation Assisting Seniors launched their new HowRU Program. The program is designed to minimize risks of living alone by maintaining daily contact with their clients. The primary objective of the program is to eliminate unreported deaths in the senior community.

The HowRU Program calls the subscriber daily at a designated time to see if they are okay. If there is no answer, the client’s emergency contacts are notified to check on them. Signing up for the program is quick and easy. If you are a senior citizen over the age of 55, you can call 702-858-5760 to register. There is an initial enrollment fee of $35 with a monthly fee of $5, billed annually every October.

Favil West, The Foundation Assisting Seniors President and Co-Founder, says, “We are looking forward to the launch of this new program, and expanding the continuity of services we provide to our senior communities. This is just one way to ensure and maintain the health and safety of those we serve.”

The Foundation Assisting Senior’s mission to assist the senior community in times of illness, recovery, confinement at home, coping with loss of a loved one, and other senior challenges, as well as to provide assistance with everyday tasks such as household maintenance, and transportation. Their goal this year is to expand their services offered with their new HowRU Program. For more information on the foundation and this program, visit: www.foundationassistingseniors.org.
