| Tronox, LLC presented gift cards to Robert Taylor Elementary Robotics Club students and President’s Award recipients on June 4. Four Tronox representatives, Rick Stater, Tommi Bryan, Kevin McIntosh and Keenan Sanders were present to congratulate the students for their hard work and excellent participation during the school year.
Each year, Tronox helps fund the school’s Robotics Club, and encourages employees to volunteer as mentors during their normal work hours. Rick Stater, Henderson plant manager, got Tronox involved with the club eight years ago when then-club instructor Dr. Larry Pilon, reached out to him for mentoring and financial assistance. Since then, the program has continued to grow and has become a longstanding opportunity for Tronox employees and Taylor Elementary students alike. |
