| Mayor Carolyn Goodman and the Las Vegas City Council members recognized the Las Vegas Firefighters for their work to raise money to donate for breast cancer research. Local 1285 representatives accepted a proclamation at today’s Council meeting to thank the firefighters for their work and salute their dedication to the community.
Las Vegas Firefighters Local 1285 are selling “Breast Cancer Awareness” shirts to their membership and the public. All proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. T-shirts sell for $20.00, and are available in men’s short and long sleeve styles and women’s sizes. They can be purchased online at www.heroic.supply until October 24. |

The Las Vegas Kiwanis and the Las Vegas Strip Kiwanis helped the Las Vegas Firefighters by giving out our “Check Your Seats In The Heat” ribbons with the help of local Key Club members at our local Smith’s Food and Drug stores in Las Vegas!
