Gordon McCaw Elementary School celebrated its second year of the school’s robotics program with club sponsor, Tronox, Monday, Oct. 10, 2016. McCaw students and parents met with engineers from Tronox and also interacted with the award winning Basic High School Robotics Team.

HENDERSON, Nev. – In celebration of 20 wonderful years in the community, the McCaw School of Mines will host a re-dedication celebration on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The community is invited to join Mayor Andy Hafen, the McCaw School of Mines Board of Directors, and other notables for games, raffles, prizes and food at the free event at 57 Lynn Lane. Basic Academy’s Wolves Robotics team is seeking sponsors for its upcoming competition, the CRATE Foundation’s U.S. Open Robotics Championship, in Bluffs, Iowa.
