Benjamin Kole is a firefighter who was named AAA Rescuer of the Year. It is not the first time he has helped save a newborn baby. He has done it before and it’s just one of the rescues that earned him the title.
(LAS VEGAS) – The Las Vegas Firefighters donated $8,300 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation on November 11. The money donated came from the proceeds of their pink “Fighting Breast Cancer” t-shirts, which were sold throughout October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
(LAS VEGAS) – Las Vegas Firefighters are proud to announce that their own Las Vegas firefighter paramedic Benjamin Kole has been named AAA’s Rescuer of the Year. As part of this award, Kole will be donating $11,000 through AAA to the American Red Cross Southern Nevada Chapter. This donation will be donated on behalf of the Las Vegas Firefighters and AAA.
(Las Vegas, Nev.) –For the first time, the Las Vegas Firefighters will be showing their support of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation by selling “Fighting Breast Cancer” charity shirts to the public. Firefighters will be purchasing the shirts to wear on and off duty, and have a goal to increase their donation to the foundation through public sales. Nearly fifty percent of the proceeds will benefit the foundation, and the other half will go to other local nonprofit organizations in the community.
(Las Vegas, Nev.) – Las Vegas Valley Firefighters, in conjunction with current and former professional hockey players, will be participating in a match-up on August 23, 2014, in order to raise money for the Las Vegas Firefighter Youth Hockey Charity.
(Las Vegas, Nev.) – The Las Vegas Firefighters, in conjunction with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), launched the annual “Fill the Boot” Drive on May 6, 2014. The Las Vegas Firefighters will be hitting the streets with their boots to collect donations in the month of May for the first time in nearly a decade.
